Shutters
Custom-made shutters designed to provide timeless style, privacy and effortless light control.

The Challange
This commission involved designing and installing bespoke plantation shutters for a striking gable-end feature window positioned high within a staircase. The combination of full-height rectangular windows with shaped triangular glazing presented a unique challenge, requiring each shutter panel to be manufactured with exceptional precision to follow the architectural lines of the property.
Due to the height of the installation, careful planning and specialist access equipment were required to carry out detailed site measurements and complete the installation safely. The client wanted a solution that provided privacy and light control while enhancing the dramatic vaulted space without compromising its clean, contemporary design.

Bespoke, Timeless Design
Our Solution
Following a detailed site survey, we designed and manufactured a fully bespoke shutter system to fit both the rectangular and shaped gable windows with millimetre accuracy. Every panel was custom-made to mirror the geometry of the glazing, creating a seamless, symmetrical finish that complements the architecture of the staircase.
The white plantation shutters maximise privacy while allowing precise control over natural light through fully adjustable louvres. Their timeless design enhances the height and character of the space, transforming the feature window into a focal point while maintaining the bright, airy feel of the atrium. Installed with precision using specialist access equipment, the finished result delivers a flawless fit, exceptional functionality, and a refined finish that integrates beautifully with the home's contemporary interior.
